Family means everything
Scott often says that one of the greatest blessings in his life has been his family.
He jokes that he used to wish he had five more children because his own have been such a joy. Now, as his children begin building families of their own, he says it feels like that wish is coming true through wonderful sons- and daughters-in-law and the blessing of five grandchildren.
Family continues to be one of the deepest sources of gratitude and joy in his life.
A life shared with Laura
Scott’s wife, Laura, has been a central part of his journey.
Their marriage and life together represent one of the foundations of Scott’s personal story. He often reflects with gratitude on the place where they were married and sealed for time and all eternity a place that also holds another meaningful memory, because it was right in front of the temple that he proposed during a horse-and-buggy ride.
